What areas do you cover for on-site house calls?

We serve the San Francisco Bay Area for in-person tech support — including SF, Oakland, Berkeley, Richmond, San Leandro, Daly City and the surrounding peninsula. Outside the Bay Area, phone support is available.

How much does tech support cost?

On-site house calls are $50/hour. Phone walkthroughs are $25/hour. Emergency support (same-day, after-hours, or weekends) is billed at 2× the standard rate.

What counts as an emergency?

Same-day response, after-hours (after 6pm), weekends, or urgent issues that can't wait. Either in-person or phone — billed at double the standard rate.

What kinds of problems do you fix?

Recording studio setup and troubleshooting, DAW and plugin installs, computer/Mac issues, Wi-Fi and network problems, printer and peripheral setup, software walkthroughs, audio interface and MIDI gear, email/cloud storage/file sharing. If it plugs in, we've probably seen it.

Do I need to know what's wrong before I call?

No. Just describe what's not working — "my mic isn't recording," "my Wi-Fi keeps dropping," "Pro Tools won't open." We figure out the cause.

How fast can you get there?

Standard on-site response is same-week. Same-day is available at the emergency rate. Phone support is typically immediate during business hours.

Do you charge for the diagnosis?

The hourly rate covers diagnosis and the fix. You only pay for time on-site or on the phone — no separate "trip fee" or "look fee" within the Bay Area.

How do I pay?

Card, Apple Pay, PayPal, Venmo, Cash App — same payment options as the rest of the Done Deal Digital site. Pay at the end of the call or after the job.
